About Us


The Technical Department is well resourced, and consists of:


Two workshops                    (1 x Wood and 1 x Dual Purpose)

Computer Lab                      (20 PC’s running Autodesk Inventor 2014, Serif Programs, Office 2010, Yenka)

Two Graphics Classrooms     (Drawing Boards and Equipment)

Engineering Classroom         (with 8 PC’s)

CAD/CAM Suite                   (3D Printer, Milling Machine, Vinyl Cutter)



We offer a full range of courses designed to cater for the needs and interests of all pupils.


We currently offer:


S1


All S1 pupils complete three units throughout the year on a rota basis. Each unit runs for approximately 12 weeks. These are:


Metalwork:     Desk Tidy

Woodwork:     Bird Feeder

Graphics:         An Introduction



S2


All S2 pupils complete three units throughout the year on a rota basis. Each unit lasts approximately 12 weeks. These are:


Metalwork:     Garden Trowel

Engineering:   MP3 Docking Station

Graphics:         Packaging Project



S3


In S3, pupils can chose from the following courses:
